Small Children ages 3-5 are introduced to dance with primary ballet positions as a foundation.  This is a great environment for socialization in a structured classroom.  Music is chosen to encourage understanding of beats and artistic expression.  Students begin class with ballet-based stretching, they then enjoy learning about fundamental ballet and jazz steps to age-appropriate music.  About Half-way through class they change into their tap shoes to make some noise learning about counting the beat, counting their steps, waiting their turn and staying in a line.

Attire: tights, leotard, hair back, ballet shoes (strings knotted and clipped) and tap shoes (preferably with elastic or buckles instead of bows).
  Please avoid jewelry or accessories
 that may distract your dancer.
